  • How do I register my child for a program?

    Registration is completed online through our website. Simply select the desired program, complete the required information, and submit payment to secure your spot.

  • Does my child need experience?

    No, we welcome players of all levels of experience and they will learn the game from experienced coaches and staff.

  • How often do you practice?

    Practice is 5 days a week (Monday-Friday) until the first league game, then practices will drop to 3 days a week (Tuesday-Thursday)

  • Where do we practice?

    Practices are held at Mesa Verde High School located at 7501 Carriage Dr., Citrus Heights, CA 95621

  • How will I receive updates or communication?

    All updates are sent communicated through the chat feature and email. Please ensure your contact information is accurate so you don’t miss important communications.

  • Are board members or coaches screened or trained?

    Coaches  are required to complete background checks, mandated reporter training, heads up training, and our football coaches take an additional AB1 training.

  • Are volunteers or coaches needed?

    Our programs rely on volunteer coaches and helpers. If you’re interested in volunteering, you can indicate your interest during registration or contact us directly.

  • What is the organization's code of conduct?

    All participants, parents, and spectators are expected to follow our code of conduct to ensure a safe and positive environment for everyone.

  • What's included in football registration?

    • Practice Jersey
    • Mavericks In Training Clinic
    • Use of all necessary equipment (helmet, shoulder pads, etc.)
    • Game Day Fields
    • Practice Fields
    • Emergency response onsite at all games
    • Game Day Officials
    • Insurance for practice and game day facilities
    • End of season banquet, awards, & trophies

  • What's not included in football registration?

    • Tethered mouthpiece
    • Practice pants
    • Cleats

    Plus: $70 football uniform (includes 2 game jerseys, 1 pair of game pants, & 1 pair of socks)


    *To ensure inclusion of an athlete’s name on their football jersey, registration must be completed by June 1.
